DTH hammers are designed to drill boreholes in rock formations by using a hammering action to break and crush the rock. The low air pressure DTH hammer operates on the principle of compressed air between 7-11 bar as the driving force. It is called "low air pressure" because it uses lower air pressures compared to conventional high-pressure DTH hammers. Instead of relying on high-pressure air to power the drilling process, low air pressure hammers utilize a larger volume of air at lower pressure levels.
